This multichine hull consists of 5 DevSurfs, 'top', 'middle', 'bottom', 'keel' and 'transom'. The deck and cabin are made of DevSurfs and RuledSurfs. A RuledSurf is created from 2 curves by connecting points with equal parameter values with straight lines ("rulings"). RuledSurfs are not necessarily developable -- all developable surfaces are ruled, but NOT all ruled surfaces are developable. |
